William Lloyd Lamb to family

Here are letters written by William (Bill) Lloyd Lamb to his family while he served in the Korean War. Also included are photographs of Lamb and his friends taken during the War. Lamb, a member of the United State Army, Company G, 180 Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division, was a recipient of the Silver Star and Purple Heart. A newspaper article published in The Blue Rapids Times, September 18, 1952, provides details of the heroic act, which resulted in Lamb receiving the Silver Star and Purple Heart.
