The last of three volumes of a diary kept by Isaac Tichenor Goodnow prior to 1851. The diary was written while Goodnow taught at Wesleyan Academy in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, a position he held until 1847. The back of the diary includes entries written from July 27, 1836 to February 16, 1838. These entries are preceeded by two pages in which the edge of the page appears to have been intentially glued together. Written between these pages is "Miss Ellen D. Denison, Colrain Mass, A Token from a Friend Diary, vol 1st, 1836."
