This is a photograph showing the Lanning siblings. Their parents were Ralph and Diana (Bendy) Lanning. Ralph was born in Middlesex, New Jersey, October 28, 1818 and died in Linn, Kansas on July 2, 1892, and Diana was born in Wiltshire, England August 12, 1822 and died in Linn, Kansas on October 20, 1903. After Aaron, their son was discharged from the 122 Regiment, Illinois Infantry following the Civil War, he brought his parents and siblings to Mound City, Kansas. People in the back row are Aaron born 1845, George born 1848, Sims born 1850, John born 1854; and front row Hattie Bearly, born 1860, Cornelia Bearly born 1855, Mary Lanning Nungesser born 1852, and Sarah Goode born 1849.
