Three unidentified women hoe the flower bed at the triangle end of Main Street in Rossville, Kansas, in August of 1960. The triangle end of Main Street was located on the west side of Main Street north of the railroad tracks. The lady on the left could possibly be Winnie Stach. This photograph is provided through a pilot project to host unique cultural heritage materials from local libraries on Kansas Memory and was accomplished by mutual agreement between the Northeast Kansas Library System, the Rossville Community Library, and the Kansas Historical Society.
