In this letter, Thomas McClelland, of Erie, Pennsylvania, sends to Kansas Governor St. John a copy of a letter written three years prior, by Honorable Neal Dow. Apparently, the letter deals with the virtues of prohibition, as McClelland mentions the new Kansas temperance law.
