A tintype of James Nichol from Leavenworth, Kansas, who served in Company E of the 8th Kansas Volunteer Infantry and George Held from Weston, Missouri, who served in Company B of the 8th Kansas Volunteer Infantry. The tintype was removed from an album belonging to Lt. Charles H. Slawson, who served in Company I of the 8th Kansas Volunteer Infantry.
