Here is a series of photographs showing the First National Bank implosion in Topeka, Kansas. The 14 story building located at 535 S. Kansas Avenue had been part of the city's skyline since it was built in 1932. AmVestors Financial Group, who owned the building, hired Engineered Demolition Inc., of Minneapolis, Minnesota to implode the building. After the building was destroyed and removed, a five-story office building was built on the site.
