These six side scrapers were recovered from the Wullscheleger site in Marshall County and donated in 1960 and 1961. The Wullscheleger site is a multicomponent village site that was occupied intermitttently during the Early, Middle and Late Ceramic Periods. The side scrapers were all likely hafted on a handle and used to scrape hides. Four of the scrapers retain a weathered outer portion call the cortex.
