This photograph shows a view of the Arkansas River in Garden City, Kansas.

These two postcards show the Topeka Club at the corner of 6th and Harrison Streets in Topeka, Kansas. The two-story building, designed by Kansas City architect Louis Curtiss, served as a gathering place for Shawnee County's prominent men. The club disbanded in 1921. The building is no longer standing.

This photograph shows the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company tool house, built in 1880, in San Antonio, New Mexico.

This photograph shows a group of people waiting for a passenger train at the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company depot in Del Mar, California. The two-story brick structure, built in 1910, provided passenger service until the late 1990s when service was discontinued. Today, the building stands vacant.

This photograph shows the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company tool house, built in 1883, in Spalding, New Mexico.

This postcard shows modification to the porch at Wolfe Hall on the campus of the College of the Sisters of Bethany in Topeka, Kansas. The stone and concrete addition could possibly be credited to Kansas City architect Louis Curtiss. The building was located at Ninth and Polk Streets and was completed in 1872 to provide an Episcopalian education to young women from kindergarten through their second year of college. Classes were taught in the college's main building until a decline in enrollment forced the school to close in 1928. Wolfe Hall was demolished in 1959.

This photograph shows passengers standing on the rear platforms of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Company's "California Limited" in Los Angeles, California. These passenger trains were introduced on November 27, 1892. For a number of years they traveled from Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles, California until service was stopped on June 15, 1954.

This photograph shows William P. Montgomery standing in front of the first Hays Sentinel newspaper office in Hays, Kansas. William bought the newspaper in December 1874. The gentleman standing on the roof has been identified as Bill Upton.
