Here are four photographs of Merle Allen Benson taken during World War I. He served in the 29th and 37th Aero Squadrons and was discharged at Godman Field Camp in Knox, Kentucky. At the time of his enlistment, Benson lived in Greeley, Kansas.

This photograph shows the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad depot at Beagle, Kansas. The depot was part of the Northern Division, Kansas City Sub Division at mile post 54.6. The south end of the depot collapsed in 2010.

This photograph shows the Missouri-Kansas-Texas depot in Neosho Falls, Kansas. The one-story wooden structure with batten siding was located along the Northern Division, Neosho Sub Division, at milepost 49.8. The depot no longer stands.

This photograph shows the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad depot at Parker, Kansas. The depot was part of the Northern Division, Kansas City Sub-division at milepost 61.6. The one-story wooden structure with batten siding has been relocated to east Parker, east of the tracks and north of County Road 1077, also known as Woodard Street.

This photograph shows the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company's sign board at Rose, Kansas. The tracks were apart of the Central Division, Coffeyville subdivision along milepost 405.29. The tracks no longer exist.
